South African Protea Cake

This is a Hawaiin cake filled with pineapple and orange. It is covered in orange cream cheese icing. The sides are decorated with raining dots. This is my attempt to duplicate a South African flower called a "Protea" using gumpaste. It's a beautiful flower. My South African friend says I did a good job. :).

This cake goes to a couple who recently got engaged in South Africa...
